DJ Shiti breaks silence after reports he is languishing in poverty after being chased out of his house in Kawangware

Renowned comedian and former cast member of the acclaimed show “Real House Helps of Kawangware,” DJ Shiti, has vehemently dismissed recent rumors that insinuated his eviction from his place of residence.

The popular entertainer, whose birth name is Steven Oduor Dede, confidently asserted that he deliberately allowed himself to come close to such circumstances, propelled by his unwavering determination to achieve his aspirations in Nairobi.

During an interview with Plug TV, DJ Shiti directly addressed the speculations, stating, “In actuality, should the situation arise where the landlord… we understand the purpose that brought us to Nairobi. Our purpose in Nairobi is to search and that is an outcome that DJ Shiti will never entertain. I am resolute in rejecting such an eventuality.”

The comedian underscored his dedication to his ambitions and his unwavering stance against succumbing to such challenges. He illuminated his career approach, drawing motivation from seasoned industry icons.

“I am methodical in my approach. I possess a fighting spirit. I am a strategist. I have imbibed wisdom from the finest in the field, including Daniel Ndambuki [Churchill], Phelix Oduor [Jalang’o], who currently holds a seat in Parliament. I have learned from luminaries like Nahodha Otoyo and MC Jessy. My guiding principle is learning from the masters, leaving no room for failure,” DJ Shiti reaffirmed.

In response to DJ Shiti’s outright denial of the eviction allegations, online users took to various social media platforms to air their opinions, often adopting a light-hearted and taunting tone towards celebrities in general.

User comments conveyed a blend of skepticism and amusement, suggesting that certain celebrities resort to seeking attention when confronted with financial predicaments and are swift to appeal for support from their fan base.

User jones humorously remarked, “One should exercise caution when dealing with celebrities 🤣🤣 anything for public attention,” while mwas articulated a sentiment frequently shared among netizens: “You celebrities flaunt your wealth when you have it but come running to us for assistance when you’re in dire straits. What a paradox.” These observations underscored the perceived dichotomy between the opulent lifestyles projected by celebrities and the financial challenges they occasionally encounter.
