The government has announced that Tea Farmers will receive a Sh 5.5 Billion tea payment mini-bonus for the year 2023.
This will be Sh 23 for every kilogram of tea sold by Farmers and now, with them loaded with cash, new opportunities to make extra money for commercial sex workers has risen.
After the announcement was made, sex workers have been spotted making in routes to Murang’a county.
In an interview with our reporters, the twilight girls said that this is an opportunity that only comes once in a while and they must exploit it fully.
“Now we can make extra cash, January is tough for us and the old men want to taste some beautiful and new things since they have enough with their wives.”
“We will eat it all and return to our usual hangout spots,” Ann Njoki, a commercial sex worker stated.
The government has however asked Farmers to use the bonuses well and not waste it on pleasures but on developing their families.
