A woman named Liz Kawela has filed a police report at Gigiri Police Station against popular comedian Oga Obinna, accusing him of stealing Ksh 2.5 million in cash and her Range Rover (registration KDP) before disappearing.
Liz revealed that she had been in a relationship with Obinna for a year, during which they lived together in her house in Kitisuru. She had even extended her hospitality to accommodate Obinna’s four children.
“Obinna moved into my home with his kids. He is a conman and deserves to be exposed,” Liz stated.
According to the police report, the alleged theft occurred while Liz and Obinna were having lunch at a hotel in Kiserian. Obinna is said to have sent his personal assistant and several men to her house, where they reportedly took cash, bedding, and other items valued at Ksh 2.5 million. Additionally, the group confiscated her house help’s phones, allegedly to prevent them from calling for help.
Liz further claimed that she had been the primary financial supporter throughout their relationship and alleged that the vehicles Obinna drives belong to her.
Following her report, police arrested Obinna’s assistant and the men involved, but they were released on bond pending a court hearing. Meanwhile, Obinna has been summoned to appear at Gigiri Police Station to address the allegations against him.
