One of the notable celebrity critics who has been gaining recognition in Kenya is CassyPool. Recently, he took aim at Tanzanian singer and the CEO of Wasafi Media, Diamond Platnumz.
CassyPool, known for frequently drawing comparisons between Diamond Platnumz and Kenyan celebrities, decided to delve deeper into Diamond’s wealth and leveled accusations of witchcraft against him. During an interview with Plug Media, CassyPool made the controversial claim that Diamond Platnumz’s apparent wealth is the result of witchcraft, suggesting that he is, in fact, quite poor. CassyPool went on to assert that Diamond doesn’t actually own the lavish mansion he often showcases online; it’s a rented property.
Further, CassyPool alleged that Diamond Platnumz wouldn’t be able to afford a house in upscale Kenyan neighborhoods like Karen or Runda, attributing this to the disparity in currency values between Tanzania and Kenya.
Adding to his allegations, CassyPool insisted that Diamond Platnumz isn’t the legitimate owner of Wasafi Media. According to him, the true owner of Wasafi Media is a wealthy entrepreneur in Tanzania who also possesses Clouds Media.
CassyPool went even further, claiming that Diamond’s perceived wealth is primarily the result of his involvement with witchcraft. He asserted that the singer relies on witchcraft to maintain his relevance and went so far as to suggest that Diamond once told Harmonize that he is unbeatable in matters of witchcraft.
In conclusion, CassyPool asserted that the music industry in Tanzania greatly depends on witchcraft, and he drew a stark contrast between it and the Kenyan music industry, which he believes is driven by pure talent.
