Content creator and actress Carol Sonnie has spoken publicly about raising her daughter Keilah Muthoni as a single mother, despite the child’s father, comedian Mulamwah, being a public figure and financially well-off.
In a recent online interview, Carol broke her silence following months of staying away from the spotlight after a public disagreement with Mulamwah over claims of neglect. At one point, Mulamwah even threatened legal action over her statements.
Carol revealed that she has resumed creating content on YouTube in an effort to increase her income. She explained that her daughter will be starting school next year, and she is solely responsible for covering the costs, including school fees.
According to Carol, raising her daughter alone has not been a struggle because her parents have been very supportive. She credited them for standing by her and helping her through the journey of single motherhood. Their emotional and practical support, she says, is the reason both she and Keilah are thriving.
She expressed deep appreciation for her parents, describing them as her biggest source of strength. Their encouragement and assistance have played a significant role in her decision to return to content creation, which she says is already showing positive results.
When asked about her personal life, Carol stated that she is currently not interested in pursuing any romantic relationships. Her main focus is on her daughter’s well-being, ensuring that Keilah grows up in a happy and comfortable environment.
