In light of the ongoing economic challenges exacerbated by the national government’s decision to raise petrol prices, which has made it increasingly difficult for motorists to meet their daily targets, this grandma has chosen to address the issue. Recently, while disembarking from a flight, she was approached by the popular Odi Bets influencer Adigo, who also happens to be her son. Adigo inquired about the current state of the nation, and the grandma’s response was nothing short of candid and sassy. She gazed directly into the camera and declared that the rising cost of petrol was of no concern to her.
In her own words, she humorously stated, “Mimi mambo ya mafuta hainihusu, nimezoea kutumia ndege,” which translates to, “I’m not bothered by fuel matters; I’m accustomed to flying.” The grandma’s witty and comical remarks have not only endeared her to the public but have also led to lucrative partnerships with renowned companies in Kenya.
