Irwa Sofia Sakwa, the mother of Kenyan rapper Trio Mio, has dismissed rumors that her son received a poor grade in the recently released Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.
She reassured fans that her son did his best and that she is proud of him. Fans of Trio Mio took to Twitter to express their support for the teen rapper, with many encouraging him to stay strong and reminding him that his career as a businessperson is already established.
The education minister announced that 173,345 candidates scored C+ or above, and 1,146 candidates scored grade A.
Candidates can now access their results through the Kenya National Examination Council website or via SMS by sending their index number and the initials “KCSE” to 20076.
