Vybez Radio has announced that Annitah Raey, a former Hot 96 Radio presenter, will be taking over for Sheila Kwamboka as the host of their Morning Vybz show. The show, which runs from 7-10 am, will also feature Kevin Matara.
This move follows Sheila Kwamboka’s decision to leave Vybez Radio to replace Kamene Goro at Kiss FM’s breakfast show.
Annitah Raey is returning to the airwaves after a two-year hiatus. She expressed her appreciation for the opportunity given to her by Vybez Radio’s management to further her skills.
“I missed the mic and the good vibes. Tune in to Vybez Radio tomorrow morning (Friday January 20) and let’s end the week in style,” she stated.
In November 2020, Annitah Raey resigned from her position at Hot 96, citing unfavorable working conditions. She stated, “I have never ranted about my personal or work life online, but I have learned to choose myself above any job because if I died today, someone will replace me tomorrow. I choose my sanity.”
