Angel Waruinge: How Killing Tahidi High Miss Morgan Character Saved My Life

Angel Waruinge, once known for her role in Tahidi High, recently shared with muranganewspaper.co.ke the significant transformation she experienced after parting ways with her iconic character, Miss Morgan. This decision, she highlighted, was a turning point that enabled her to explore new opportunities and reignite her zest for life.

Angel is now displaying her acting talent in the Showmax TV series Kina while also stepping into the world of production. She is currently pursuing a two-year psychology program, hoping to use her personal experiences as lessons for future generations.

Having openly confronted her struggles with depression and alcoholism, Angel has courageously shared her journey. She is deeply committed to mentorship, traveling to schools across the country to offer guidance. Alongside her colleagues, she shares her story to inspire and warn students about the potential dangers of the path she once walked.

Aware of the mental health challenges that media personalities often face, Angel is a strong advocate for addressing these issues. To facilitate open conversations, she launched her own show on YouTube, providing a platform for Kenyans to discuss mental health freely. Tina Kaggia is set to appear on the show, with a focus on addressing a wide range of mental health issues.

Despite facing setbacks from the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, Angel remains hopeful and determined about the success of her new TV show. Although filming in Mombasa encountered some delays, her optimism for the project’s future continues to drive her forward.
