A grieving father, Meshack Ojwang, has made an emotional public appeal for justice following the death of his son, Albert Ojwang, describing life as unbearably difficult since the loss. Speaking with deep pain, Ojwang said he believes that if Raila Odinga were still alive, he would have helped him pursue justice for his child, but fate has denied him that support as well.
In his plea, Ojwang turned to Oburu Odinga and other Kenyans of goodwill, asking them to stand with him in his search for answers and accountability. He said the absence of justice has compounded his grief, leaving him struggling not only with the pain of losing his son but also with the feeling of being abandoned in his fight for the truth.
Ojwang explained that life has lost meaning since Albert’s death, noting that the emotional and psychological toll has been immense. He described his days as heavy and difficult, marked by constant reminders of a son who is no longer there, and by unanswered questions surrounding the circumstances of his death.
His appeal has touched many, reigniting conversations about justice for grieving families and the need for leaders and citizens alike to support those seeking accountability. Ojwang’s words reflect the anguish of a parent who has lost a child and now clings to hope that compassion, solidarity, and justice can still prevail.
