Big Win for Mutula Kilonzo Jr as Court Orders Woman to Pay Him KSh 15 Million in Fake Child Case

Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr has won a major legal battle after the court ordered a woman who falsely claimed he was the father of her child to pay him KSh 15 million in damages.

The ruling came after DNA test results proved that Mutula was not the biological father of the child, putting to rest a long and emotionally draining paternity dispute.

According to court documents, the woman had publicly claimed that Mutula was her baby’s father and demanded financial support — allegations that the governor consistently denied.

Following a court-ordered DNA test, results revealed zero paternity link, prompting Mutula to sue the woman for defamation, emotional distress, and reputational damage.

In his judgment, the court found the woman guilty of maliciously tarnishing Mutula’s image and ordered her to compensate him KSh 15 million for the harm caused.

Mutula welcomed the verdict, saying it was a victory not just for him, but for every man who has ever been falsely accused of fathering a child.

“Truth has prevailed. I thank the court for upholding justice and restoring my dignity,” he said after the ruling.

The decision has sparked mixed reactions online, with many Kenyans praising the governor for standing his ground, while others called for stricter laws to address false paternity claims.
