Equity Bank CEO, James Mwangi is said to be on the final drafting of his Ralla support memo ahead of the 2022 general elections.
Mwangi is among a group of Mt Kenya Billionaires who have shown support to the former premier and have even endorsed him as their preffered presidential candidate come 2022.
The founder of Equity Equity Bank, Peter Mungai had earlier said that the bank will support Raila’s presidential bid.
According to a reliable sources, Mwangi is willing to give Raila Sh 10 billion to aid in the campaign if he will name him as his running mate.
“Naming him as running mate alone will guarantee at least Sh10 billion from Mwangi and his network of friends,” said a source who is close to Raila.
This comes few weeks after a group of Mt Kenya filthy and rich came up with a list of influential leaders who they wish Raila will pick from the list his preffered running mate.
