Speaking to Citizen TV during a past interview, Peter Sankale revealed that he was born and raised in Ngong Kajiado.
His love for the Maasai culture has been a huge influence on his acting career, as he has naturally blended his role in acting with his immediate environment.

Peter Sankale’s acting career started during his childhood while still in primary school. He would later venture into the film industry when he was still a worker at a Pan African Bank over three decades ago. This led to his landing at KBC Studios, where he participated in an audition for a role in the famous Vitimbi show.

During this period, Olexander still worked as a clerk in the bank, and it was seemingly exhausting as he was working twice.
After one year, he decided to follow his dreams as he parted ways with the bank and fully focused on his acting career.
His efforts paid off as he quickly rose through the ranks at KBC, which saw him being called up as one of the leading characters at the court drama show, Vioja Mahakamani.
