Kenyan rapper Stephen Otieno Adera, popularly known as Stivo Simple Boy, appears to have developed a resilience towards social media criticism. Unlike in the past, the controversial artist has learned to assert himself within the entertainment sphere.
In a recent incident, the singer stirred up a variety of reactions by likening himself to prominent figures in the industry. He boldly proclaimed that he is the Diamond Platnumz of Kenya, asserting his position as the premier and most influential Kenyan artist, despite not reaping substantial rewards for his efforts.
“I am the best artist in Kenya. You cannot compare me to anyone else. I am the Diamond of Kenya,” he declared.
Furthermore, he argued that the disparity between him and the Tanzanian star lies only in their musical styles and financial success.
“Diamond prefers love songs, but I sing songs that educate society. Besides, he has a lot of money. But musically, I lead Kenya.”
