The DCI detectives are in hot pursuit of a lady who is said to be the prime suspect in the murder of Constable John Ogweno.
The lady identified as Corporal Caroline Kangongo is said to have been the last person spotted with the deceased.
Constable Ogweno was found killed earlier today, July 5, inside his personal car at Kasarani police station line, Nakuru County.
“A ceskar pistol under serial number 94679 loaded with 15 rounds of 9 mm ammunition also went missing,” part of the signal read.
According to sources, corporal is Kangongo was last seen with Ogweno at Nakuru police station and it is believed that the two were in a relationship.
Kangongo has been labeled as wanted Ann’s dangerous and police have been put on high alert in tracing and recovering the fire arm.
Meanwhile, a man has been arrested by Maragua police officers after he allegedly beat his wife to a pulp.
Thee man identified as Samuel Kamande is said to have beaten his wife Angela Njeri today morning after she refused to pour him hot water for shower.
Samuel will be arraigned tomorrow, July 6.
