Kenyan gospel sensation, Peter Omwaka, widely recognized as Guardian Angel, recently shed light on his harmonious bond with his stepchildren, who are nearly his age.
In a recent interview with a local blog, the singer expressed the strength of his relationship with Esther Musila’s children – Gilda Naibei, Glenn Naibei, and Kim.
“They are mature individuals. We share a positive and robust connection,” affirmed Guardian Angel.
Esther Musila, on her part, revealed that her children easily embraced their 35-year-old stepfather, emphasizing that the trio welcomed him as an integral part of the family.
Moreover, she mentioned that it wasn’t challenging for her children to accept her dating Guardian Angel, as her altered behavior signaled a change in her personal life.
“One day, I informed them about my relationship with Guardian Angel. Children can be apprehensive, fearing that a new relationship might result in their parent’s absence. However, Guardian entered their lives seamlessly, and they clicked from day one,” she shared.
Addressing criticism from online detractors, Guardian Angel expressed no regrets about his relationship with the 53-year-old Esther.
He pointed out that numerous marriages face challenges, even when men marry younger women, conforming to societal expectations.
“My commitment to my partner surpasses age; it transcends public opinions. Once you are in bed, it’s about you and your spouse. Let the online critics continue their chatter on social media,” he asserted.
The singer, aged 35, emphasized his indifference to public opinion about his connection with Esther, maintaining a steadfast and confident stance from the outset.
