In a recent YouTube video, Irene Nekesa, known for her prominent role as the head housekeeper in Diana Marua and Bahati’s household, openly discussed the daily expenses incurred in their luxurious residence. Accompanied by two other housekeepers, Nekesa took the opportunity to explain to their employer, Diana Marua, the reasons behind the consistently high daily budget.
Nekesa revealed that their daily expenditures typically amount to approximately Ksh30,000. She clarified that this financial allocation covers a range of essentials, including food, fuel, the purchase of electricity tokens, and other daily necessities. “To be honest, we spend around 30k a day in this house,” Nekesa emphasized.
Diana also chimed in, stating that the minimum amount her staff could request for their domestic needs was Ksh10,000. “In a day, the minimum for this house is 10,445 Ksh. And still, guys, it’s not enough,” Diana acknowledged. She further explained that she had set an average daily spending limit of Ksh6,000, even though she recognized that she often exceeded that amount. “On average, I’d say it’s 6k a day. That’s just how it is,” Diana added.
The housekeepers acknowledged that the Bahati family’s lifestyle is unquestionably extravagant, and the daily upkeep of their spacious residence comes with substantial expenses. They expressed their gratitude towards Diana Marua and Bahati for providing them with a luxurious living environment and treating them as beloved members of their extended family.
