Wema Sepetu: Men Are Never Satisfied With One Woman

Actress Wema Sepetu contends that men are inherently predisposed to pursuing relationships with multiple women throughout their lives, asserting that their nature prevents them from being satisfied with a sole partner. In a candid discussion about her own romantic experiences, the Tanzanian actress shared her perspective on her current partner, Whozu, amid speculations that he might be seeking to father a child with another woman.

Wema Sepetu conveyed her belief that monogamy is an unrealistic expectation for men, asserting, “There is no man with just one woman; it’s in their nature not to remain loyal to a single woman.” She maintained that, even if a man is currently exclusive, he will inevitably gravitate towards having multiple relationships. The actress acknowledged this as a harsh and painful reality that society must come to terms with, expressing her personal acceptance of it.

Despite being in a two-year relationship with Whozu, Wema has faced challenges in conceiving a child with him, a circumstance surrounded by social rumors. Some speculate that Wema was “cursed” by Steven Kanumba, a filmmaker, following their amicable separation. Allegedly, this curse has prevented her from having children in subsequent relationships. Nevertheless, Wema remains optimistic about her future with Whozu and her desire to fulfill his wish for a child.

While addressing her commitment to Whozu, she emphasized, “I love him so much, and he loves me too. However, there is one thing (a child) that I need to accomplish for him to solidify our love.” Despite the challenges, Wema expressed her unwavering love for Whozu and her hope to make him content and happy, even in the face of societal expectations and rumored curses.
