The high court has allowed a private developer to auction Kirinyaga Governor’s home in Kitisuri after she failed to pay Ksh, 4.5 Million debt.
Delivering the ruling, Justice Alfred Mabeya noted that Frame Consultants could either attach the house or ask Waiguru to settle the contested amount.
The governor purchased the Ksh 80 million house in 2015 and paid 40 million with the balance to be settled later.
“In this regard, Frame Consultants can either attach or auction the property to recover its debt,” the Judge ruled.
Waiguru however has also moved to court again and a ruling has been issued to a temporary injunction stopping her eviction from the house which is located in Kihingo Estate, Kitisuri.
