Career Journey
Growing up, Kareh B never imagined herself as an entertainer. Her childhood dream was to become a lawyer, and at one point, she even considered specializing as an entertainment lawyer.
Her musical journey began in 2009 when she started performing with a band that entertained audiences with a variety of genres, including Rhumba and Afro-Fusion. However, it wasn’t until 2017 that she ventured into recording her own music.
Kareh B’s mastery of the Kikuyu language did not come naturally. While in high school, she struggled with fluency and was often ridiculed by native speakers. Determined to improve, she immersed herself in Kikuyu theatre, started listening to Kikuyu radio stations, and sought help from friends to perfect her grammar. Her hard work paid off, and she soon began incorporating the Kikuyu language into her music, earning her recognition as a vernacular artist.

Early Life and Education
Kareh B was born in Nairobi as the youngest of four siblings. She attended primary school in South B before joining Kitengela Secondary School. She later completed her high school education at Joseph Kairu Secondary School. Excelling in her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams, she secured a place at the University of Nairobi, where she pursued a degree in Public Relations.
