“We Used To Steal Dead Bodies From Graves, alafu we Sell Them To Cult People”  they paid good woman reveals

Angela, a middle-aged woman with a troubled past, has recently chosen to share the haunting story of her life — a journey marked by hardship, regret, and eventually, redemption.

Born and raised in Sinai, Angela grew up in the harsh realities of the ghetto. As the eldest in a struggling family of seven, she was forced to shoulder responsibilities far too early. Her father abandoned them when she was still young, leaving her mother to care for the family alone. With no steady income and food often scarce, Angela and her younger brother resorted to begging on the streets, hoping to bring something home for their starving siblings.

But as time went on, begging was no longer enough. In her desperation, Angela made a decision that would change her life forever. In her early twenties, she was lured into a secret cult that operated in her neighborhood. To her, it seemed like a way out of poverty — but it came at a devastating cost.

Initiation into the cult was terrifying. Angela and other recruits were led by a witchdoctor, their cult leader, and subjected to cruel rituals. They were forced to drink raw blood and take part in disturbing ceremonies meant to grant them “powers” through black magic.

Once fully initiated, Angela became entangled in dangerous criminal activities. Under the cult’s orders, she and others stole expensive coffins from cemeteries and, in shocking cases, even exhumed bodies to supply for ritual practices. A single coffin worth KSh 60,000 could fetch half that price, and the trade was disturbingly profitable. The cult also engaged in drug trafficking, armed robberies, and other crimes that spread fear throughout the city.

With her newfound wealth, Angela was finally able to provide for her family — the very reason she had gone down such a dark path. But deep inside, she was spiritually broken.

The turning point came after the sudden death of their cult leader. Without his control, the group crumbled into chaos, plagued by mistrust and infighting. For Angela, this collapse forced her to confront the reality of her choices.

Leaving the cult was not easy, and the journey to rebuild her life was long and painful. But through determination and support, Angela eventually broke free and embraced a new path.

Today, she speaks openly about her past — not to glorify it, but to warn others about how desperation can lead to destructive choices. Her story is both chilling and inspiring: a reminder of the darkness that poverty and hopelessness can breed, but also proof that even in the deepest pits, redemption is possible.
