“Wanaume wa Kenya Hawajui Kulipa” Sad Reason Mpenzi Chokuu will never come Back To Kenya

Kenyan gay man, Mpenzi Chokuu, recently shared that he has no intention of returning to Kenya. He described his time in his home country as akin to a nightmarish experience, one he is determined not to repeat.

During a Q and A session, a fan inquired about his plans to return to Kenya, to which he responded with firm resolve:

“That’s not in the cards for me. I lost my parents when I was just five years old, and later, I also lost my siblings. My life in Kenya became a living nightmare, especially after the loss of my parents. I am now content and grateful to be living in Germany.”

Mpenzi Chokuu has previously opened up about being a survivor of sexual abuse, an ordeal that has left lasting emotional scars. In July 2018, he disclosed that he had been raped as a young boy and recounted the cruel treatment he endured:

“Today, on a day like this, I was subjected to rape, humiliation, and ejected from my uncle’s home. Those were the people I believed were meant to protect me, and yet they mocked me.”

Currently, Chokuu is estranged from his extended family, who have disowned him, further emphasizing the hardships he has faced in Kenya.

My life in Kenya was hell on earth especially after losing my parents, am happy to be in Germany.” – Mpenzi Chokuu
