Wachawi! Akothee slams women messaging her husband ‘ BAD MANNERS’

Singer Akothee has recently taken to Instagram to address a brewing issue in her personal life. During an Instagram Live session on Tuesday, August 1, the mother of five expressed her concerns about women who have been showing undue interest in her husband, Schweizer Omosh, on social media.

Akothee didn’t hold back, addressing those who speculated about her relationship status and intentions: “You think I have been dumped to slide into his DMs? All those sending him DMs, I am reading them,” she declared.

She also vented her frustration regarding people who seemed to take pleasure in her perceived misfortunes, particularly in matters of love. Akothee expressed her exasperation, saying, “Mnachokesha akili sana. You always wish me bad things. Would anyone announce a breakup in a [music promotional] poster?”

To clarify, Akothee pointed out that the recent poster she had shared was promoting her new song, “Niko Singo.” She firmly stated, “Go to my YouTube and watch my song. Oh, Akothee is not singing, oh, she is pregnant. I am not pregnant. Niko menopause.”

Akothee revealed that numerous bloggers had inundated her with messages, assuming that the much-discussed music poster was somehow related to her personal life and inquiring if everything was okay. She retorted, “Who organizes a poster to announce they are single? Stop diverting from the point. Accept that I have dropped a hit song, and it’s now on YouTube.”

Furthermore, Akothee touched on the topic of her second wedding, which she had previously announced would take place in July 2023. However, due to negative responses and what she perceived as sabotage attempts, she declared that she would no longer share her plans with her fans. She said, “About the wedding, there was no wedding. I was clout chasing. Was I marrying your relative? I will stop telling you my plans since some of you are not celebrating me.”

Akothee also explained why she had stopped posting pictures of her husband on social media. She emphasized that Dennis “Omosh” Schweizer is not a celebrity, and she prefers to keep their private life out of the public eye. She dismissed criticisms about her social media posts, saying, “Oh, you are posting him too much, oh, you have not been posting him…is he a celebrity? He is busy working.”

Addressing persistent admirers, she clarified that she is happily married, and her DMs are not open for romantic advances. She asserted, “I see your DMs, and I am married. And in case I am dumped, I know how to move on, and I am not afraid of being dumped. And even now, my DM is full despite being married. And I don’t stay single for long.”

Akothee also provided context regarding her recent appearance at an event with her ex-lover, Nelly Oaks, emphasizing that he is considered family to her. She criticized the misconception that her presence with Nelly Oaks at her daughter’s club launch event implied she was single. She assured her fans that her husband, Schweizer Omosh, had no issues with her relationship with Nelly Oaks and even mentioned their plans to meet and have a drink when he returns.

She playfully concluded her Instagram Live session by playing her latest song for her fans.
