Life can sometimes be very difficult when you are poor. For Abraham, a man from Mbale, Uganda, poverty was not just a situation it was his identity in the eyes of those around him. People mocked him for years. Friends turned into strangers, relatives refused to help, and neighbors laughed whenever he tried to share his dreams. He lived in a small rented room, struggled to put food on the table, and could not even afford school fees for his younger siblings. His life felt hopeless.
Abraham remembers days when he would go without food, walking long distances looking for casual jobs. Sometimes he would spend the night hungry, wondering if life would ever change. The worst part was the way people treated him. Even his close relatives began to look down on him. They would say things like, “You will never be anything in life.” But deep inside, Abraham refused to give up. He wanted to prove everyone wrong and change his story.TO READ MORE,TAP HERE
