President Uhuru Kenyatta during the Mashujaa Day celebrations feted aged Kikuyu Musician, Wanganangu with the Head of State Commendation.
During a luncheon after the celebrations, the head of States and the musician were captured sharing light moments while jamming to his previous songs.
A happy Uhuru in the viral video was heard jamming to ‘Murata ni Uriku‘ (Who is a friend), one of Wanganangu’s popular songs, as the other bystanders cheered him up.
The president also gifted the Benga Music Pioneer with a 6-acre piece of land as a sign of appreciating a hero.
Wanganangu has made history after being the only musician who has performed to the four presidents that Kenya has had.
After the luncheon, Wanganangu speaking to reporters said that he is also ready to perform for Raila if he will be the 5th President.
