Kikuyu gospel musician, Muigai Wa Njoroge has been trending on the socials after he was accused of destroying and misleading troubled singer Dennis Mutara.
Muigai is accused by netizens off recruiting Mutara into a cult which in return allegedly led to his current woes.
Muigai was first accused by popular blogger, Martha Mwihaki Hinga who alleged that Mutara’s troubles started after Muigai recruited him into a cult kbown as ‘Gwata Ndai’, which Muigai is a senior member.
The allegations stated that Mutara abandoned Christianity and later abandoned his music career after he was deeply involved in the cult.
This led to his depression and he sunk into alcoholism after his close friends abandoned him.
Muigai has however denied the allegations saying that he was the one who raised Mutara into a celebrated musician after funding his first musical video.
Muigai said that he wishes Mutara to recover and went on to offer a prayer for him to overcome the challenges he may be facing currently.
