Kenyan musician Stevo Simple Boy has revealed that, although he has been living with his wife Brenda for about a year and the couple is expecting their first child, he has never met her parents.
Speaking in a recent interview on TV47, Stevo described Brenda as the love of his life and credited her with bringing positive change into his world. He confirmed that they live together as husband and wife, but admitted that he is yet to meet her family in person.
According to Stevo, the delay is not due to any issues within the relationship, but rather his personal sense of unpreparedness—especially when it comes to finances. He explained that meeting one’s in-laws is a significant step that requires thoughtful planning and preparation, something he feels he hasn’t quite achieved yet.
Despite the delay, Stevo shared that he maintains communication with Brenda’s parents via phone calls and that plans are already underway to formally meet them. For now, the couple is focused on preparing to welcome their baby, a moment they are both eagerly anticipating.
