Kihenjo almost now a family name, is kameme FM’s radio presenter who goes by the name Kizangala on AIR. His true name is Joel Mungai to those close to him.MZee co-hosts mid morning show known as ‘Cajamuka’ with the the famous Muthoni wa Kirumba.
He is known for his humorous satire and almost any Kikuyu from central kenya know him. He also has his own comedy show aired on kameme at 7:30PM daily.
Kihenjo is said to be more than 25 years in the comedy industry. His popularity grew some years back when he was the hot topic of every young child especially in central Kenya.
Those days he used to act wearing battered clothes and white beards with a walking stick making him look like an old mzee.He used to sell the cd’s that is how he made his money from comedy. He also did church gigs and events but not all the function was he paid.
Kihenjo is one of the rare celebrities who has always made his personal life very discreet . He says nothing regarding his wife and kid.On AIR Kihenjo only mentions his acting wife ‘Majangwa’
