Kenyan media personality Kamene Goro has firmly rejected the notion of reconciliation with her former co-host, Andrew Kibe, who is scheduled to return to Kenya in December.
During a recent interview, Kamene was asked about the possibility of reuniting with Kibe upon his return to the country. She immediately interrupted the interviewer, emphatically stating, “No! Where would I even find him? I’m not Kofi Annan; I’m not here to mediate peace. Forgiveness is something we leave to a higher power. In December, I’ll likely be in Mauritius.”
Kamene’s response left no room for doubt that she had no intention of entertaining any discussions aimed at reconciling with Kibe.
The rift between Kamene and Kibe, who once served as co-hosts at Kiss 100, became a public spectacle.
In a previous interview, Kamene clarified that her decision to part ways with Kibe was driven by his expectation that she would follow suit. Nonetheless, she opted to continue her professional journey independently.
“It’s not that I didn’t enjoy our partnership; it’s just that, with other co-hosts, I realized it was a healthier option. Kibe was a close friend, and I believe he anticipated that I would depart with him,” she explained.
While the exact cause of the falling-out between Kamene and Kibe remains undisclosed, it is abundantly clear that neither of them harbors any inclination toward reconciliation.
