The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is currently investigating the mysterious death of a man discovered with stab wounds in Eastleigh, Nairobi County. The body was found by residents along Third Avenue on Wednesday night, showing signs of stab wounds to the head and back.
Authorities suspect the murder took place at the scene but are yet to determine the motive behind the crime. The deceased’s body has been taken to City mortuary for further examination and identification as detectives launch their investigation.
In another incident, in Siaya County, the lifeless body of a 28-year-old man was found in his home in Hulwik Village, Ugenya sub-County. The deceased, who worked as a herdsman in the village, was discovered in the living room on Wednesday evening.
According to Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo, there were no visible wounds on the body that could indicate foul play. Initial investigations suggest that the man had been unwell and was receiving medical treatment. The body has been transported to a nearby mortuary for postmortem examination and identification purposes.
