Sauti Sol Announces Breakup After 18 Years – END OF AN ERA

Kenyan boy band Sautisol has made the decision to go their separate ways after a successful 18-year journey of creating music together.

The band, consisting of Bien, Savara, Chimano, and Polycarp, recently announced that they will be parting ways following their eighth world tour and the release of their final album in 2023.

Although the members of the group will be pursuing individual projects, the strong bond of friendship they have developed over the years will remain intact.

In an official statement released today, it was revealed that the world tour, known as “Tour 8,” will serve as a final opportunity for fans to experience the magic of Sautisol before the group takes a hiatus.

“This upcoming tour across the United States, Europe, and Canada presents fans with a last chance to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of Sauti Sol. After the tour, the band will take a break from collaborative projects for a while.”

Furthermore, the tour will also serve as a celebration of Sautisol’s incredible journey and a testament to the enduring bond of friendship that has been forged over their 20 years in the music industry.

In 2021, Sauti Sol had initially announced their decision to take a break and focus on individual endeavors under the guiding principle of “Alone Together.”
