Suna East Mp Junet Mohamed has communicated his frustrations over deputy president William Ruto’s heavy security presence.
While making his contributions on Wednesday, he noted that the Cabinet Secretary responsible for the Ministry of Interior ought to apologize for giving the deputy president such heavy security.
“Deputy president William Ruto anapewa Polisi Kuchunga nyumba ya Kuku? Is that really okay Mr Chairperson? He must apologise to the country.”the controversial Member of Parliament noted.
This comes after it emerged that William Ruto has all his private properties watched by armed cops against what had been claimed by a portion of the close allies of the deputy president William.
CS Fred Matiang’i revealed that Deputy President William Ruto is the most protected second-in-command throughout the entire history of Kenya, Interior CS Fred Matiang’i has claimed.
Showing up before the Committee on Administration and National Security of the National Assembly on Wednesday, CS Matiang’i claimed that Ruto has 257 officers guarding him, his office, his private homes and properties.
“It’s unheard-of that a chief of staff of a senior office writing to @IG_NPS and before the letter is received he’s already posted it on social media.This is juvenile activism.If unchecked this vulgarising of important offices will erode the dignity of our country’s🇰🇪 institutions”
