In a surprising and tragic development, the Monalisa Hotel in Murang’a became the center of a shocking incident, leaving the community in disbelief and raising numerous questions regarding the untimely demise of a prominent individual.
Father Joseph Kariuki, a highly respected clergyman responsible for overseeing St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ruai, was discovered unconscious and, devastatingly, declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The circumstances surrounding Father Kariuki’s passing remain unclear; however, unsettling information has surfaced, shedding light on a concealed relationship that has now come to public knowledge.
Ruth Karanja, a 32-year-old woman employed at the same church, had been involved in a secretive romantic association with the deceased priest.
According to reports, Ruth and Father Kariuki checked into the hotel together on that ill-fated Friday night. However, the following morning, Ruth allegedly found the priest in a distressed state and promptly informed the hotel management of his deteriorating condition. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, she suggested immediately transferring him to the hospital.
Taking swift action, they rushed Father Kariuki to the hospital using his own vehicle. Tragically, despite the efforts of medical professionals, he could not be revived and was pronounced dead upon arrival. Disturbing accounts have depicted a distressing scene during that time, with reports of white foam emanating from the priest’s mouth and nose.
The revelation of a concealed relationship between Ruth and Father Kariuki has undeniably introduced a layer of complexity to this already heartrending event.
