The feud between two popular figures in Kenya, gengetone artist Odi Wa Murang’a and self-proclaimed “president of comedy in Africa” Eric Omondi, appears to be escalating. Despite reconciling in a previous interview with Spm Buzz, Odi Wa Murang’a has now threatened to release Eric Omondi’s nude photos.
In a recent interview with Mungai Eve, Odi Wa Murang’a clarified what had happened at Miamor Lounge in Lang’ata, where Eric Omondi had publicly accused him of being intimate with his girlfriend in the women’s washroom. Odi explained that his girlfriend was unwell and vomiting, so he went to check on her. However, one of the male bouncers followed him and inappropriately touched him while trying to remove him from the women’s washroom. Odi was traumatized by the incident, as he was not accustomed to being touched inappropriately by men. He stated that this was the reason why he had accused the bouncer of assaulting him.
In response to Eric Omondi’s accusations, Odi Wa Murang’a dared him to release any alleged nude video of him and his girlfriend in the washroom. Odi made it clear that if such a video existed, Eric was free to make it public. However, Odi also threatened to release Eric Omondi’s own nude video, which allegedly features him with a woman named Tracy, while they were in Mombasa. Odi claimed to have possession of the video and warned Eric not to cross him, lest he make it public.
Overall, the situation between these two public figures seems to be quite tense, with both parties making threats of releasing compromising content about each other. It remains to be seen how this conflict will play out in the future.
