Recipients of the Kazi Mtaani program under Cohort A will get their most recent payments in time for Ester occasions.
Head Secretary of the State Department of Housing and Urban Development, Charles Hinga, on Tuesday apologized for the postpones saying money will be dispensed to Kenyan youth today, Wednesday, March 31.
“To all Cohort A Kazi Mtaani young people, your installment is being prepared, ought to be paid most recent tomorrow. Once again apologies for the delay in payment,” he said.
Hinga clarified that the funds were deferred for two days because of regulatory issues.
“Since it’s a new phase there were few administrative issues delays but all has been sorted now,” he said.
Kazi Mtaani programme employs 280,000 young people in 900 informal settlements across the 47 counties. It was unveiled in July 2020.
