In a recently surfaced video that has been widely shared on social media, Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism has once again sparked outrage among Kenyans.
In the video, Pastor Ng’ang’a can be heard making a controversial statement during a sermon, where he asks his congregation to present him with a Luo individual who is not infected with HIV/AIDS. He promises to reward them with a staggering sum of Ksh 1,000,000.
Claiming that he cannot tolerate immoral behavior in society, the TV preacher specifically targets the Luo community, stating that they are heading towards damnation.
“These individuals from Nyanza region continue to provoke God. Hellfire is expanding to accommodate them. Show me a Luo person without HIV/AIDS, and I will give them one million shillings…” expressed Ng’ang’a.
Following the video’s circulation, social media users have criticized Pastor Ng’ang’a for promoting tribalism within the country. Many have called upon the relevant authorities to take appropriate action against the controversial preacher.
