In today’s world, it is increasingly rare to find someone who has chosen a life of complete abstinence. However, 70-year-old Aliphosin Tabarwa, a woman from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), has stunned many with her story. She revealed in an interview with Afrimax English that she is still a virgin and considers herself very pure, having never engaged in any sexual relationship throughout her life.
Tabarwa explained that she made a conscious decision early on to forgo romantic relationships and worldly pleasures in order to dedicate her life to raising her younger siblings. She took on the role of caretaker, ensuring that each of her siblings received an education and graduated successfully.
Throughout her life, Tabarwa consistently turned down men who approached her. She avoided romantic entanglements altogether, choosing instead to focus solely on her family. Her peers went on to marry and start families, but she remained single, prioritizing the well-being of her siblings above her own personal desires.
Now that her siblings are all grown and accomplished, Tabarwa feels fulfilled in her role as their guardian. However, she has recently expressed a desire to find love. Despite her age, she remains hopeful that she will meet a man who will love and marry her. She openly stated that whoever becomes her husband will find a truly pure woman, as she has never been with any man.
Filled with faith and optimism, Tabarwa believes that with God’s grace, love is still in her future. To her, age is just a number, and she remains hopeful that her time for love and companionship will come.
