The Garissa Member of Parliament has asked President Kenyatta to pay Ksh 6 million that he owes to the Independent Party (Tip Tip) founder, Kalembe Ndile.
Duale said this on Friday, June 8, in Parliament and urged the Jubilee Party led by Kenyatta to pay up the money.
The Independent Party was among 14 political parties that merged to form Jubilee.
“Hon. Kalembe kept asking for 6 million for folding his party,” he said.
Duales call was contested by Minority Leader, John Mbadi who said “Is he in order to imply that Kenyan taxpayers’ money should be used to settle debts that are owed by political parties or friends of political parties?”
Kalembe died on May 30 and will be buried at his Mbui Nzau home in Makueni County.
