Eunice, a woman born without legs in Nairobi County, faced various challenges throughout her life. After her father’s death, financial difficulties led her mother to entrust her care to her grandparents. Eunice began schooling and realized her differences from other children around grade six. Unfortunately, she experienced mockery from some of her peers, making her environment challenging.
Despite the hardships, Eunice persevered and eventually enrolled in a school for students with disabilities. She continued her education through college and later moved in with her brother. During this time, she found love with a man, and they made promises of a lasting relationship.
However, their love story took an unexpected turn when Eunice returned home one day to find her boyfriend intimately involved with their househelp on the sofa. The shocking discovery shattered her deeply rooted love for him, marking one of the most painful experiences of her life. Despite the househelp’s apologies, Eunice couldn’t bear the heartbreak and decided to part ways with her lover.
