A man identified as X has shared a deeply moving account of why he chose to stand by his ex-girlfriend during her pregnancy, even though the child was not his.
According to him, the young woman had been abandoned by the man responsible, leaving her in need of emotional and moral support. Despite the painful reality, he decided to remain by her side throughout the pregnancy and until she gave birth.
“One day, I will tell the story of how my ex-girlfriend got pregnant for another man. I knew about it, but I stayed because I understood she needed support. It wasn’t out of naivety—it was because I recognized the importance of being there for her when the man responsible failed to,” he explained.
He went on to reveal that the pregnancy came under tragic circumstances, disclosing that the young woman had been subjected to abuse by her stepfather.
