Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has called on the Luhya community to rally behind him, saying their support is crucial for him to leverage his influence in negotiations that could bring development and benefits to the region.
Speaking during a public event, Mudavadi stated, “I ask the Luhya to stand behind us and unite. That is how I will gain the strength and popularity needed to negotiate effectively and deliver progress and benefits. If that strength diminishes, even negotiations will be affected.”
The remarks come amid ongoing political positioning ahead of upcoming elections, highlighting the importance of community backing in national leadership and decision-making.
Mudavadi emphasized that unity within his community is key to maximizing political influence and ensuring that the interests of the Luhya people are prioritized in government planning and resource allocation.
