Body of Missing US Based Kenyan Woman Found in Boston Airport Parking Garage, Police Say Murder Suspect Fled to Kenya

Police are currently conducting an investigation into the enigmatic demise of Margaret Mbitu, a Kenyan woman residing in the United States, whose lifeless body was discovered within a Boston airport parking garage.

The lifeless body of the missing 31-year-old, affectionately known as Maggie, was tragically found inside a vehicle within a parking structure at a Boston airport. Authorities have indicated that the presumed perpetrator of this heinous act has fled to Kenya.

At the center of this investigation is Kevin Kangethe, a 40-year-old individual who is presently the primary suspect in this tragic incident. Law enforcement officials have confirmed that the suspect and the victim were in a relationship, though they have yet to disclose additional details, including a potential motive for the homicide. An arrest warrant has been issued for his apprehension.

It is suspected that he swiftly left the United States for Kenya, embarking on a 16-hour flight, immediately following the commission of the crime, in an attempt to evade justice.

Margaret Mbitu was last seen leaving her workplace in Halifax, driving her white Toyota Venza, shortly before her disappearance.

Mbitu was employed as a nurse and was well-regarded for her selflessness, often taking on extra shifts during the holiday season to enable her colleagues to spend time with their families. Her coworkers became concerned when they failed to establish contact with her, prompting them to circulate a “missing person” flyer online.

The flyer described Maggie’s last known whereabouts, stating, “Maggie was last seen at 11 pm on Monday, October 30, in Halifax, leaving work. She was attired in black pants, a gray shirt, and a black cardigan. Her straight black hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and she was driving a white Toyota Venza.”

The authorities are diligently working to unravel the mystery surrounding Mbitu’s death, employing surveillance footage to piece together a timeline of her activities after departing from work on that fateful Monday.

Our deepest condolences go out to the grieving family, and may Margaret Mbitu’s soul rest in peace.
