Kisumu Governor, Anyang Nyongo has sent his condolences to the families and friends of several students who were Killed in a deadly road accident along Kisumu Highway.
Several sources have confirmed that the deceased were Killed in a road accident involving a Matatu and a Lorry that had been parked beside the Road.
Taking to his different social media platforms to speak on this, Nyongo revealed that 3 students were Killed on the spot after the matatu crashed into the lorry, the tout of the lorry was also killed in the fatal road accident that has caught the attention of several Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to express their concern.
Nyongo also called upon the Police to conduct an investigation in order to establish what happened prior to the incident that left 19 people injured.
Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to speak on this have expressed their concern over the increasing number of Kenyans who are being Killed in road accidents across the country.
Section of Kenyans claimed that traffic police are to blame over the increasing number of road accidents in the country.
This is happening at the same time when the National Police Service has called upon Kenyans to work hand in hand with the police to help reduce cases of road accidents.
The police stated that Kenyans can do this by reporting rogue motorists and corrupt traffic cops who are often caught taking bribes along the roads in the country.
