Jimmy Wanjigi has dished one thousand shillings to over four thousand youths in Maragua.
The former Orange Democratic Movement Party shareholder had pitched camp in Maragua where he was campaigning for Moses Mwangi who is seeking the Murang’a County Gubernatorial seat.
Wanjigi in his speech at Maragua town said that Moses deserves the seat seeing that he came in second position in the past general elections adding that since Mwangi Wa Iria is eying the presidential seat, the county should consider him (Moses) for the county’s top seat in the August General Elections.
The youths who had attended the rally also said that since it is a political season, they must eat money dished by politicians who are vying for various seats stating that Corona had dealt them a blow.
We must eat this money, even if we are not interested with the candidates agendas and manifesto, money is money,
One of the youth leaders said.
Dr Moses is competing with Irungu Kang’ata and Wairagu Wa Mai who according to a statistic conducted by Info tract, are the three main horses in the Murang’a County Gubernatorial race.
