Lang’ata Member of Parliament and popular radio personality Felix Odiwuor, better known as Jalang’o, has revealed the depth of his friendship with Citizen TV news anchor Jeff Koinange.
Speaking during an interview with Lynn Ngugi, Jalang’o dismissed rumours of a fallout between the two, insisting that their bond remains strong. He recounted a memorable moment when Koinange surprised him with a luxurious Audemars Piguet watch worth over KSh 3 million as a birthday gift.
Reflecting on their time co-hosting at Hot 96, Jalang’o admitted that while they initially faced uncertainties, they quickly developed a captivating on-air chemistry that resonated with listeners.
Jalang’o also opened up about his decision to leave Hot 96 for Milele FM, explaining that the move was inspired by an irresistible offer from his close friend and fellow radio presenter, Alex Mwakideu. However, he acknowledged that the switch strained his relationship with former boss Fred Afune, who, according to him, still holds a grudge over the move.
The revelation of Koinange’s grand gesture has sparked admiration online, with many praising the strong friendship between the two media personalities.
