Comedian Njugush and his wife Celestine Ndinda, also known as Wakavinya, proudly displayed their stunning multi-million mansion to their fans. During an interview with KTN’s Art of Living Show, Celestine gave a sneak peek of the home’s interior design, showcasing the living room and dining room.
The two-story mansion, located in Ruiru, was completed in December 2019, but the couple moved in before it was fully finished. They had to endure some difficulties during construction, including a shortage of qualified contractors in Ruiru, but with the help of their parents, they were able to overcome these challenges.
Celestine revealed that initially, the family lived on the first floor while the upper section of the home was being completed. When they first moved in, there were no ceramic tiles and the only flooring was cement, making the house quite chilly. However, they eventually changed the design and added warmth and character to the space.
The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all painted in different shades, with a predominantly white theme. The spacious living room is equipped with a large flat-screen TV and stylish grey furniture. Celestine revealed that her husband Njugush chose the sofa set, which adds to the room’s modern aesthetic. The house also features modern gypsum lights, impressive wall paintings, and exquisite curtain designs.
The couple usually takes their meals in the living room, but during extended family occasions, they gather around the dining table. They will be spending Christmas in their rural hometown, as Celestine believes that Christmas with family is the best.
Wakavinye ended the interview by reminding Kenyans to share and take care of each other during the festive season. She said, “Sharing is caring. If you have extra food and your neighbor is hungry, share it with them.”
