Renowned Kenyan musician and content creator Stevo Simple Boy has officially announced his entry into politics. The entertainer revealed that he plans to contest for a Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat in Kibera during the 2027 general elections.
In a recent interview, Stevo shared that his decision to join politics was driven by the hardships he has witnessed among young people, particularly those living in informal settlements.
He expressed a strong desire to bring positive change to the youth, stating that one of his long-term dreams is to improve their lives. According to him, securing an MCA position will give him the platform to achieve this goal.
Stevo also mentioned that preparations for his political journey are already underway. He promised to unveil his campaign team soon and will disclose the specific ward he intends to contest in the near future.
