A Kenyan man by the name of Samuel Chege, who is a resident of Bahati in Nakuru county, is asking the president of Kenya, William Ruto, to appoint him for the deputy Iebc chairperson position, which was left vacant following the resignation of Julian Cherera. Cherera and the other three commissioners were to face the tribunal due to gross misconduct during the August general elections.
According to a news source, Chege said he is the best person who can do that job. He is a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in education science from Karatina University. He further added that he can offer a credible election that can truly reflect the will of the people.
“Hello, Mr. President, I am ready to replace Juliana Cherera in the IEBC and offer an election that truly expresses the will of the people,” Chege wrote.
