“I Married Second Wife To Teach My First Wife a Lesson, Ended Up Being The Lesson” Nakuru Man Cries

David Njoroge Chege from Nakuru County has found himself behind bars after a personal plan to spite his first wife ended in disaster.

Chege, speaking to Simon Kibe on Jamba TV, shared how deep marital conflicts with his first wife led him to make a life-altering decision—to marry a younger second wife as a form of revenge.

However, what was intended as a calculated move soon turned into a nightmare. His relationship with the second wife quickly soured.

Frequent arguments erupted, with quarrels centering on property such as goats and a bicycle, which she falsely claimed had been stolen.

Things took a darker turn when the second wife began reporting Njoroge to local authorities.

She filed multiple complaints, including theft and other serious allegations.

Despite Njoroge’s insistence that he was innocent, the legal system took its course. The result: he was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Now incarcerated, Njoroge reflects with regret. “I thought I was fixing my problems,” he said, “but I only dug myself deeper.”

Njoroge’s case serves as a cautionary tale for those thinking of using relationships as a tool for revenge. Instead of healing wounds, such actions may create even deeper scars—and in his case, cost him his freedom.
