Copy Cats to pay 800K fine if found using David Moya’s dance style

Recently, one of Kenya’s finest dancers, Moya David, announced his plans to patent his dancing styles during an interview with Spum Buzz. He stated that he would be taking legal actions against people who copy and steal his dance moves. Moya David came up with the moves originally, and he finds it unfortunate that people are using them in a bad way. He plans to patent his dance moves to ensure he receives credit for his creativity.

However, his fans have raised mixed reactions about his plans, noting that it is too late since many people are already using the style, and the music he accompanies dances with is not his. Trevor, a guy who claimed Moya David called him demanding to know why he was copy-pasting his dress code, hairstyle, and everything, revealed this information last year. Moya David surprises his clients in dances synched with famous MI Amor by Joval and Tanzanian artist Marioo. Some fans think that he should allow people to use his moves for free, just as Marioo did not take any legal action when his music was used.

On the other hand, some fans believe that Moya David has become proud and is threatening to sue people who use his craft to earn a living. Moya David seems to be earning good money through his dance surprises. Last year, he opened a spa at Kileleshwa, and this year he opened a state-of-the-art barber shop in Kitengela.
